The following script is read to customers when collecting verbal consent:
"Hi, this is [Employee Name] from Perro Largo. Would you like to receive text message updates from us? These messages will include appointment reminders, service updates, booking confirmations, and customer service responses. Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can text STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or text HELP for assistance. Do you consent to receive these text messages?"
Customer Response Required: The customer must verbally confirm "Yes" or equivalent affirmative response.
📝 Consent Documentation
When verbal consent is obtained, Perro Largo documents:
- Customer name and phone number
- Date and time of consent
- Employee who obtained consent
- Confirmation that the script was read and customer agreed
